IS the groundwork being laid for an Australian tour next year by the queen of pop, Madonna?
According to sources, preliminary work has started on a potential tour and confidential feelers have been put out regarding accommodation and venue availability.
But approached about the possibility of Madonna heading Down Under, promoter Live Nation yesterday offered a polite but firm "no comment".
The singer has a massive global deal with Live Nation, which looks after all her tours.
Plans for Madonna to undertake an Australian tour in January 2009 were scrapped because of the global financial crisis.
