My Grandma is so cute! Actually, she's cranky, depressed and extremely lonely...but I think she's down right adorable. She lost my Grandpa earlier this year (which was horribly hard on her) and calls me when she needs a pick-me-up. She says that, talking to me on the phone always lifts her spirits...and when she says that, that always makes my day too. So we are good for each other like that!
Anyway, we were talking today and she asked me when I would be making my next television appearance. She's anxious to see me on another television show. She got to watch me walk the Cat Walk on the Dr. Oz Show and that thrilled her to no end. In fact, she was brutally honest when she called me to tell me she saw it. She said, "honey...that dress did nothing for you, but you still looked great!" Sometimes her honesty can be taken the wrong way...but I knew she was meaning for that to be a compliment. I love her for that!
I think it's funny that my Grandma, of all people, who lives in a little tiny town in Missouri is anxious to see me make another television appearance. Though my Dr. Oz gig was only about 30 seconds of air time...she was delighted to see her Granddaughter on national television.
So help me out guys...how can I make my Grandma's day and give her the chance to see me on tv again? I need ideas? Anyone got any suggestions? Can't do Oprah...cause she's done! Feel free to comment...if you want...or just roll your eyes and move on if you think I'm being ridiculous! Hee Hee! Knowing that my Grandma gets excited makes me even more driven to make it happen again!
