    In 1977, [lastfm]Elvis Presley[/lastfm] died. Although many suspect Elvis accidentally administered himself a drug overdose, the official verdict was coronary arrhythmia. He was 42.
    In 1980, Drummer Bill Ward left [lastfm]Black Sabbath[/lastfm].
    In 1983, [lastfm]Paul Simon[/lastfm] married actress Carrie Fisher in New York. They divorced in 1985.
    In 1985, [lastfm]Madonna[/lastfm] married Sean Penn in Malibu Beach, California on her 27th birthday. They divorced in 1989.
