I have had a wicker basket that I used to keep blankets or shoes in...for years. I actually think I bought it before my husband and I were married (so well over 9 years ago) and it's moved with us to every house we've lived in since then.

However, it's time to say, "GOOD BYE" to the old thing. Why? Not because it's falling apart on it's own...because truthfully, the thing was made to last forever! But because JADE (our puppy) has taken a huge liking to it. So much so, that there really isn't much left of it.
Watch as she plays with it in the living room.
Notice all the toys that used to be stored in there laying all over the floor and the remains of the basket on the carpet and hardwood.
She has completely, totally, destroyed it! It's been funny to watch her at night (cause that's when she really works at it), chewing and pulling and tugging at it. She has removed layer by layer or wicker to make it nothing more than just the bottom now. Yes, on occasion, she does swallow some, but for the most part, she shreds it and leaves it laying all over the ground for me to pick up after her fun time is through.
Oh the joys of puppy hood!
