One of our family's favorite fruits...by far...is the Strawberry. When we lived in California, we were notorious for bringing bushels of freshly picked (right out of the field) strawberries to events and gatherings, because we knew that they were always a hit. There is nothing sweeter or juicier than a freshly picked strawberry at the beginning of summer. Seriously...just ask my kids!
I'll admit though, we are pretty generic with how we serve them, because we like them so much just straight from the field. So I was excited to receive a copy of "Strawberry Recipes For Everyday" Cookbook that was just created by the California Strawberry Commission! I actually connected with one of their representatives last year at a Team Mom event and was excited to share my love for the fruit our family enjoys so much!
This recipe book is filled with awesome ideas I never even dreamed of...breakfast, lunch, snacks, salads and even "MAIN COURSES". I can't wait to try out some of these fantastic ideas! Talk about a way to inspire a mommy that already loves strawberries to use them even more in my cooking!
