All of my kids love being outside. They love riding their bikes (or trikes) and riding all around! For me, safety is important and what is inside my children's noggin (you know that thing that you wished more people would use sometimes) needs to stay safe and functional, as long as I can personally protect it. So I always worry about them falling off their bikes (like I did as a kid...I was always crashing & burning) and busting their heads on the concrete or asphalt. It terrifies me!
I was so excited to find that Nickelodeon (one of our favorite channels) has a "BIKE HELMET" line (being sold exclusively "IN STORE" at Kmart) that not only includes their characters, but offers amazing comfort and protection for my kids & their "very important" brains.
Not sure if you can tell or not, but he was very excited about this helmet for a few reasons.
#1 - He felt like such a "BIG BOY". His brother & two sisters have helmets too for their bikes
#2 - It came with a bell! What little boy doesn't want his presence know when following behind his manic brother and sisters?
#3 - It's adjustable, so the helmet (though recommended for ages 5+) was able to tighten to his size
#4 - He loves Go Diego Go and having this helmet on made him feel like he was really going on an "Adventure" with Diego.
He's off and I feel safe and confident about him wearing his new Go Diego Go Bike Helmet (being sold "IN STORE ONLY" at Kmart)! There's no stopping him now! And yes...they have a Dora version as well!
