This weekend is "MEMORIAL DAY" Weekend. What does that mean for you?
Does that mean you'll be headed to the mall for some amazing sales?
You know, stores typically offer fantastic deals & bargains over Memorial Day Weekend. Even some offer "TAX FREE" Sales & discounts like they don't offer at any other time of the year.
Does that mean you'll be headed to the nearest park or backyard for a BBQ with friends & Family?
Since Memorial Day is also the "KICK OFF" to SUMMER (and the guideline for wearing white), lots of families spend it in their swimming pool (weather providing), with hot dogs & hamburgers on the grill and lots of outdoor play & activities.
But please do me a favor...as we head into Memorial Day Weekend...
Let's Remember Why We Really Celebrate MEMORIAL DAY!! Do you know why?
There are soldiers right now...this very second...fighting (and dying) to keep the USA safe, secure and risk their lives daily for our freedom to live here with such a sense of security. MAKE SURE you stop and say thank you & send up a prayer for veterans of past wars, those currently fighting and those who will be fighting one day. We are so lucky to live in such secure place...where we can be who we want to be and live like it's no big deal.
My husband is a VETERAN, My Grandfather (though departed) was a fighter pilot in the World War, My cousin's husband is a VETERAN who just came home from war last year to marry her & now they are expecting their first child together (as a family) and I know so many more people who either have or are a part of the "SPECIAL" group of men and women who deserve a HUGE THANK YOU for their sacrifices for our freedom.
