Not sure about you, but when my kids are sick...most of the time, they don't want to cooperate with me. The poking and prodding and fussing with them makes them even more upset and angry...which in turn, makes them feel even worse. I actually have been really bad too about "ACTUALLY" taking their temperature. I guess I feel I am a pretty good judge if they are running a fever or not, but my kids don't always like having it taken either...especially when they are not feeling good.
