So, if by some stroke of luck, I happened upon a huge inheritance or we purchased the winning Mega Millions lottery ticket...I know one thing that I would purchase for our family with some of that money. Of course, only after 10% of that went to GOD and several donations were made to charities and causes I feel strongly about...would I then have no apprehension about getting my pilot's license and buying a PLANE for our family. NO JOKE! Not only would this make traveling to see our family (which is spread out all across the US) a much simpler task. But having this in our possession would offer us the ability to go wherever...whenever. That's right...it's my nephew's birthday in Ohio...hop in the plane and go celebrate. A group of our friends are going to Disneyland...hop in the plane and go enjoy. We decide to take a trip to Paris and see the sights with our kids before they are all grown and gone...hop in the plane and go.
Pretty sure my kids would love riding in something like this...and the idea of getting some place in 1/2 to 1/4 of the time is IDEAL for a family our size! The opportunities would be endless and the ability for us to be closer than ever before to most of our family that we rarely see, because of the cost of flying for a family of 6 and the time that it would take to drive, WOULD BE AWESOME!!
So there you go...I've just been thinking about it lately and it would be really nice to own our own plane and just be able to GO...
