So, as my kids head off to school with backpacks full of new school supplies...it's a perfect time for me to fill my make-up bag with new supplies, so I can take care of myself. I am finding that I have the ability to spend a little bit more time on me...because, aside from the sleeping 3 year old...my house is empty during the afternoons. That means that MOMMY can pay attention to some details in herself that have been lacking!
Such as my gray (or in my case, pure white) hairs. HOLY MOLY! Maybe it's the stress of life..maybe it's because I'm inching towards my mid thirties, but whatever it is...I am finding an awful lot more PURE WHITE Granny Hairs popping out of my head as I style my hair in the morning.

I got to try NYC new "SMOOCH PROOF 16HR LIP STAIN". I was impressed with how easily it went on and the fact that it really did keep my lips "stained" all day long. Plus, I could use a little gloss over top to keep them moisturized if I wanted to.
I haven't really had a chance to spend time painting or caring for my nails either, but it something that I really enjoy. In fact, I always feel much more confident if my nails look nice.
I am so glad I got to try the Sally Hansen "Nail Art Pen".
Talk about super easy to use...and wow did I love the results. My girls will love having mommy use this on their nails too. I'm thinking about buying one of every color they have. This would make a great stocking stuffer for a tween or teen too.
