Being a" California Girl" (do you hear Katie Perry's song in the background)...I love sticking my feet in the sand! Being at the beach in some warm soft sand makes my heart very happy!
When I saw this company...I not only knew that this was a product our family would ADORE, but I was super excited to find that they were actually a local "MOMMY" business I could help spread the word about. Two mommies who live actually about 5 minutes from me started this company and they have an amazing product on their hands! Every boutique in the US should be carrying this product...because parents are going to go nuts about Sandy Foot! I did at least!

The best part of this review...at least for me...was that, we were blessed to have one of the business owners come to our house to actually do this kit with my five year old. What's better than getting to try a product out with the person who created it? NOTHING...so we were absolutely excited when Alison arrived so we could start on our project.
Of course, my five year old...being a girl that loves the color pink, chose to do her "SANDY FOOT" imprints in the pink colored kit. We did two kits, so she could have a matching pair of feet.
Step #1...aerate the sand, so it's fluffy and easy impressionable!
Step #2...Step into the sand with EXTREME pressure...but keeping the foot still and pushing every toe down into the sand! This will be the actual MOLD for your "SANDY FOOT"!
Step #3...Carefully remove your foot from the sand!
Step #4...Measure the water!
Step #5...Pour and mix the plaster into the water!
Step #6...Pour the mixture (starting from the toes and flowing back) into the foot impression.
Step #7...Tie the robe and sink it in the plaster, for future hanging or display!
Step #7...Wait about two minutes for the plaster to set enough that you can use the stylist to write your name, the date or make a design on the backside.
Step #8...Wait for your impression to dry (about 30 minutes to an hour depending on how warm/dry it is)!This was the hardest part of the kit for my five year old! Waiting to see her finished work of art!
Step #9...Slip your hand under the sand and press the impression upwards, and free it from it's mold.
Step #10...Dust the sand off with a toothbrush or paper towel to get most of the sand off the front of the impression and in between the toes (tickle...tickle...tickle!).
Step #11...Hang and Display!

Not only was this product simple enough for our five year old to basically do by herself with very, very little help...but it creates a lasting impression that can hang on your wall, offers a memory from a vacation or outing and also givea you a way to measure how much your child has grown between the years. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! Just picture it...you're taking a day trip to the beach, and the first thing you do when you arrive is "SANDY FOOT" prints for your kids. Then, when you get ready to leave, you just pop them up and away you go!
If you have kids and love the beach...this is a product you're going to want for your next day trip or vacation. It comes packed in adorable colorful polka dotted package and has everything you need (but the little bit of water) to make an awesome lasting impression to take home with you from your time well spent at the beach!
