Since when is it okay for us to teach people that stealing, cheating, hiding from the cops & lying to them and being a fugitive is acceptable & actually encouraged? I MEAN...SERIOUSLY?
As if there isn't enough crime in this world, now they are producing television shows encouraging people to strategize and manipulate the system, in order to win $100,000.
Have you seen the previews of this show? Will you be watching it?
I WILL NOT! I would be afraid too, that children (or tweens) will watch this show, in awe, as they see people "RUN FROM THE LAW" to earn the $100,000 they are hiding from the cops. What message is this sending to our youth? In my opinion...it's encouraging them to not follow the law, to not respect the authority and saying that being a criminal is OK...as long as you get a handsome sized reward in the end. YIKES!!
ABC...I think you need to think about pulling this show off the air before it causes a new wave of criminals to develop. I'm not joking. Sometimes all people need is a little encouragement that things they want to do are actually easier than they thought...and they will dive into a life, that is not morally or ethically right...for the ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!
In my opinion...you should not watch Take The Money And Run on ABC. You should encourage other's not to watch it as well. I feel better getting that out. Everytime I see the commercials for it, I get upset & verbally say I need to blog about it...to deter other's from watching it & supporting it too.
