So, I was thinking this morning about funny "FAMILY" stories and probably one of our biggest classics so far had to do with my brother in law and me.
You see...they came to visit us from OHIO and were were enjoying our trip. My mother in law had rented a condo about 45 minutes from our house, so we were driving between the two. At some point during one of the trips, I bought a soda and hadn't drank it all...

Then, for some reason, we switched cars and my brother in law and hubby took the van somewhere, and meanwhile my brother in law used my half drank soda as a spitter for his TOBACCO.
If you have never been around someone who chews...they will pretty much spit in anything...and it's a down right disgusting HABIT. My husband used to chew...and I am so glad, that despite how difficult it was for him to stop, he doesn't anymore!
We switched cars back, so my sister in law and I could go shopping, and we made a pit stop at McDonalds so she could run in to the bathroom real quick. I was super thirsty and without thinking (or even being aware that my brother in law had used my cup for a spitter), proceeded in sucking down almost the entire rest of what was in the cup. I had no idea that it wasn't anything other than the soda I had partially drank earlier that day. I am seriously gagging as I write this...re-living this moment. I stopped, and noticed that my drink had a semi-minty flavor to it...and then it clicked.

I threw open the car door, in the McDonalds parking lot and proceeded to puke up the entire cup full of soda mixed with dip spit. OH MY GOODNESS...how disgusting! My sister in law noticed me throw open the door, but wasn't sure what I was doing, until she got back in the car and I full explained it to her.
Of course...the guys thought the entire thing was SUPER DUPER hilarious! They cracked up...and laughed so hard about it!!
And like I said...that day, I got far closer with my brother in law, than I ever imagined I would...and would never like to be that CLOSE ever again!
