My 7 year old has aspirations...to be an "ICE PRINCESS". After being inspired by the Disney Ice Princess movie, she decided she wanted to start taking lessons and just got her LEVEL 4 badge. She's grown and learned so much & I am so proud of her.
Today, after a week of 8:30-12:00 summer skating camp, they gave a performance of "THE LION KING". This was her very first choreographed routine and though she does have one little slip (and gets right back up after a fall)...she did AMAZING! So proud of my little girl!
Here she is, relieved that it's over.
She's exhausted, but so glad she did the camp and can't wait to KEEP GOING. I think Olympic GOLD is in her future! Well...maybe not, but one can dream for their child, right?
