My kids! They are creative little buggers! They had an WILD idea (while the little guy was down for his nap) and I let them roll with it...because I'm that kind of mommy.
We had some lemon juice (in a bottle) in the fridge and it inspired them to make their very own lemonade.
As I was sitting in the living room, listening to the giggles and tinking noises, as they were stirring up their special cups of LEMONADE...I reiterated to them, "NOT A LOT OF SUGAR guys, OK?" "We know mom!", was their response.
So, they brought their drinks for me to try...and HOLY CANNOLI...talk about SOUR! They really did "GO LIGHT" on the sugar. They all giggled and laughed as I made "THE FACE" (you know, the one you made when you've sucked on a lemon).
I figure...hey, if they'll drink it...then let them be "CREATIVE" little drink makers and have fun at it! And they did have fun! To top it off, they even made me my very own cup full!
