So...here's the humbling truth...sometimes I don't believe everything I read. Here is evidence of one of those times!
Our landlord came this morning and put tar down in the cracks of the driveway! I love that he's as meticulous as he is with our rental home. He takes care of all the weed picking, leaf blowing, crack filling details outside our house. One of the only bonuses of renting...cause we would much rather own at this point in life.
Anyway, Jade went outside and came in with the TAR all over her paws. I didn't realize it until she jumped up on me and I had it "LITERALLY" all over my arm. GREAT! This stuff does not COME OFF at all. My first thought thought (obviously, I really didn't think it through), "I'll use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser! That will take care of it!" And yes, I proceeded to rub it on my arm and it did take most of it off...until I realized this awful burning sensation on my arm. Then I read the box...DO NOT USE ON SKIN! USING ON SKIN WILL CAUSE ABRASIONS!
GREAT! FABULOUS! OUCHIE!
That's exactly what happened. My arm is now red, irritated and burning! I will not stop using Mr. Clean Magic Erasers (I am forever indebted to their awesome cleaning power)...cause let's be honest...my house would not be the same without them. However, I will never use them on my skin again! NEVER EVER!!
Lesson learned!
