Having four kids and not being a "HUGE" fan of the outdoors, I could use all the inspiration and insight that is available, to give me & the kids activities to do outside! Anything to get us away from the computer, the television, gets us outside being active and having fun as a family!
At Getting Gorgeous, I received a book in my swag bag that I think should be in every family's library! It's called "15 Minutes Outside" by Rebecca P. Cohen. It's tag line, "365 ways to get out of the house and connect with your kids". Um...this book is perfect for me!
What I really like about it, besides all the wonderful ideas, is that it's broken down month to month. Some months that are ideal for outdoor activities and some that are not so great...but regardless the weather conditions, it motivates me to get our family outdoors EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR!
