When my husband and I got married, we owned the sheet sets that I've had, basically my whole life. Since I had the bed that I received at age to, it was definitely time for an update! After buying our first mattress set together, we bought some sheets from JcPenneys and our new comforter set. I remember being upset at how much the "KING" sized sheet sets cost and they really were nothing special, but they were all that we could afford and we definitely needed sheets.
Since then, I really have not put much money into our bedding...mainly because, until we crawl into bed at night, it's nothing I even think about during the day. But that may have changed now that we received 1500 thread count sheets and sleeping in our bed at night is "ALL" I can think about!

The best part about it...these sheets were really not that much more expensive than the sets we purchased when we first got our mattresses...but there is a HUGE (SUPER HUGE) difference in quality. If you've never slept on higher thread count sheets, you may not realize (my husband and I didn't)...but now I don't think we can or will ever go back.
These SHEETS ARE AMAZING! Seriously, words cannot express how fabulous they feel against your skin. It's like a little bit of HEAVEN in your bed. So nice!
One misconception I had, which was wrong, was that the higher the thread count...the thicker the sheets. NOPE...actually these sheets are a lot thinner than the ones we usually use. But the thing is...the feel of these sheets is beyond EXCEPTIONAL. They are amazing, and should last almost "FOREVER" as long as I care for them the right way! And...they are basically "WRINKLE FREE", which means, you never have to worry about the extra time spent ironing your sheets.
