Although our weather isn't nearly as warm as it is in other parts of the U.S., today is a beautiful, sunshiny day and I am so very thankful that I can open up the windows and let the cool breeze blow through the house.
It may sound cheesy, but just the mere act of opening the windows makes my heart happy & my body actually feel good...better in a way! Breathing in some fresh air, after the winter's pented up, stale air goes out out the windows fills me with JOY!
Our neighbor's yard is full of daffodils. To me, daffodils, maybe because of their color or shape, appear to be SMILING! Of course, they have grown "almost" wild after years and years of being there. So our kids had a great time picking them and bringing them to me, which just added to my zealous, cheerful mood!
Finally, today...our 7 year old found a four leaf clover (which really isn't CLOVER) outside! No amount of arguing could convince her it was anything but CLOVER, so I went with it! How lucky is she? Of course, she was super excited and proud about her cool SPRINGTIME! I love it when my kids do things that make their hearts happy too!
On a small side note, we also managed to get our "boy's" room cleaned out from top to bottom...which makes me feel good too! Next up...the "girl's" room...
What a great day first day of SPRING BREAK!
