Any Volunteers? Who Wants To Take Me Skiing...My New Shirt Has Inspired Me!

I've been skiing before!  Okay, I've tried skiing only once in my life!  I went with my boyfriend and his family long ago.  His mom and I took lessons on the Bunny Slope, while the rest of them skied.  By the end of the day, I did attempt to go down a real slope and did OK.  I loved it!  Yes...I fell a lot and almost "accidentally" went down a BLACK DIAMOND slope (talk about taking a hard fall to stop myself in time), but it was exciting, invigorating and great exercise too.

I guess, now...I can dream about going to Denver, CO and skiing thanks to my new shirt (Colorado LS Ladies tee) that arrived yesterday from Alp N Rock!

Isn't it great?  I wanted to immediately put it on, snuggle up next to a fire with a good book & cup of hot chocolate and dream of being in a ski lodge.

Instead, I went outside to take a couple pictures so you could see how GREAT this shirt really is.

Here's some details about their company (which I think is pretty cool):
Alp-n-Rock launched their hot, new line in fall 2008 with the ever innovative, reversible long-sleeved women's and men's tees. Made from an exclusive 2-ply fabric with an exquisite eye for detail, every style was a conscious tribute to the environment as it successfully combined eco-friendly production with high fashion design and quality. The result continues to attract a loyal clientele from elite sportsman to fashionistas and the like. Aficionados are awed with each new collection bearing striking original artwork by commissioned artists, leather patches, embroidery and hand stitching. It’s the consistently positive response to Alp-n-Rock’s fresh approach to comfort and style that has inspired the brand’s future collections. Each design is manufactured in a limited quantity for a truly unique clothing experience that manages to sell out every season!

Alp-n-Rock was created as a vehicle to raise funds for philanthropic endeavors. We will donate 10% of profits to Room to Read to fund girls' scholarships in developing countries around the world, giving girls the lifelong gift of education.

Alp-n-Rock is the only US born clothing brand that offers edgy alpine designs mixing a European aesthetic, quality and luxury with casual California comfort all the while striving to break the cycle of poverty, one child at a time.

CLICK HERE to check out their full line, which includes products for women, men and even girls.  I have a feeling their line will make you wish you could head out to the closest skiing slopes to tear up some powder.
