We received a few samples to try..for our family (sent free of charge for this review/feature) and I was worried that the kids particularly wouldn't enjoy it because the flavoring didn't make the water sweeter (there is no sweetener added. I was really excited and anxious to get their honest opinions!
I was wrong! THEY LOVED IT! They really did!
My oldest daughter was so funny...she could have done a commercial. She's like, "Mommy...I know why they call it HINT"! I'm like, "why?" She says, "because it tastes like plain water, but when you swallow, you get a hint of yummy flavoring!" SHE IS SO RIGHT! Of course, when I got the video camera out, she wouldn't cooperate, but the two youngest wanted to express their DEEP LIKE of this product!
The water does have a scent of the flavor, but until you truly swallow it...you don't really taste the flavoring, which is awesome! It's super refreshing, adds some much needed excitement to plain water and has no calories or added preservatives! I really want to try the "CUCUMBER" flavor, because I love water with cucumbers...makes me feel like I'm sitting in a spa somewhere! And mommy loves spa time!
My oldest daughter loved it so much, she emptied her cheer water bottle (that I had filled with plain ol' ice water) and dumped in a bottle of "HINT" water to take with her. I also let my youngest guy take a bottle with him and he was so excited, he ran up to some friends when we got to practice to tell them about his awesome water drink that his mommy gave him. IT WAS ALL HIS...and he was so happy about that!
I suggest that you seek out HINT for your family (they even sell it on Amazon.com). This would be perfect to pack in lunches, great for after school activities and perfect to take to work...so you get your recommended daily amount of water! YOUR BODY needs it! Might as well give it some water with a "HINT" of flavor, right? Everyone should www.drinkhint.com!
