Ms. Love proved to be a full cup of well-intentioned kookiness last night at amFAR's Inspiration Gala benefit at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.
The Hole rocker was the evening's surprise performer, screeching out singing covers of Madonna's "Like a Prayer" and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance." Love may have forgotten some of the lyrics, but no matter. Her guitar player was there to remind her of the words. And truth be told, we kinda dig Love's take on the songs. We think it may be time for her to put together an album of covers.
But we digress.
Court ended her performance, which included a few F-bombs and at least one nip-slip, by announcing that she wanted no more drama in her life. "Please help!" she said. "All of you…Help me. I don't want to be controversial anymore."
Later on, Love was overheard complaining to various people that her bank accounts are frozen and she's gone days without any cash. However, she did say there's a guy in New York City she's having sex with who she does, in fact, like.

This is from Madonna's "The Confessions Tour - Isaac". Heartfelt thanks to Donnaleigh de LaRosa for posting this on Face Book! Stunning video! The words here are fiction - they are not meant to reflect the content of the video. The video acts as a focus, or catalyst for the writing.
Hear that music? hear that voice? It speaks to my soul - it asks me who I am, and what I am going to do about that. Hear that quickening? Eveything is moving faster … faster … faster!
What is this cage that I am in? I choose to move - faster … faster … faster! Keep moving! Don't stop! Don't wonder why I am in this cage. As big as it is - it limits me … it forces me to live within boundaries that are not mine!
Hah! As long as I keep moving, you cannot catch me! You cannot define me! You cannot control me!
Who am I? It really doesn't matter, because I am as free as I want to be!

Madonna's publicist has shot down rumors the pop superstar has a new man in her life, dismissing reports she is dating her choreographer.
The Material Girl sparked rumors she had ended her romance with 24-year-old Brazilian hunk Jesus Luz after she was allegedly spotted smooching dancer Brahim Rachiki, 33, last week.
According to reports, the singer was openly kissing Rachiki, who choreographed her recent Sticky & Sweet tour, while the pair enjoyed a night out in New York.
However, Madonna's rep has told GossipCop.com rumors of a new romance are "not true."

Madonna em sua turnê "Re-Invention Tour", em 2004
osNow, you know I had to include some Madonna. Aside from being a fellow [University of] Michigan Wolverine (Go Blue!), she is also one of the greatest artists-at least of the 80s and 90s. I'm posting the "Who's That Girl" remix right now for two reasons: 1) it's awesome and 2) I've posted a lot of songs from the 90s and I'm wanting to mix in some 80s right now. Posting the Sugar Babes song "We Rock the Beat" immediately made me think of the "Who's That Girl" remix, because they were back to back on a tape of songs I recorded from the radio. Those are probably the two songs I wore out most on that tape, and I was so happy to get both in my digital music collection. Naturally, I have other good Madonna remixes to bring to you in the future, but here's one of the best for right now. Let's not even talk about the movie it's from…
While male acts dominated the lineup that day, a few ladies were able to strut their stuff.
Madonna had only become a household name the year before with Like A Virgin. Here, a brunette version performs two of her classics:
Earlier in the day, the Pretenders performed with Chrissie Hynde in great form:
Later that night, Patti Labelle performed to the Philadelphia crowd:
Back at Wembley, Sade performed early in the concert, though only Your Love Is King made it to the DVD. She performed a few songs including Is It A Crime?:
Alison Moyet performed with Paul Young at the end of his set for soulful That's The Way Love Is:
Most people claim they hate Madonna because she 'tries too hard' and is always up in their face with Kabbalah or some over sexualized gimmick. This is true for some things, however, she really shows her talent and lasting quality by seeking out the latest euro producers and songwriters to stay current. Here are some jams you may have overlooked in the '90′s just because they were released under 'Madonna'.

'Take A Bow' - by Babyface
'Justify My Love' - by Lenny Kravitz
